Today we will discuss a very important topic that is “importance of time and time management”.
My main motive behind this article is to make you realize the “importance of time and time management”,which many still don’t understand.
My article is specially for young people who are studying ,started working in offices and also for others who don’t understand the “importance of time management”.
We grow up to an age where we have a lot of responsibilities ,we have a lot of work to do in life , we have future plans etc..But my question is,can we manage to do all these things without time management. No ,the answer is simply a no.
We are not super heroes who can do all these things all together in seconds.We need to have a proper plan to manage our time for everything.
So here comes the “importance of time management” and the only solution to mange things.
I have seen many people complaining that they don’t have time to do things.They say that they are not able to take out time for other things.But what I think
Its not about taking out time , its about time management.
They lack a proper time management.
Some people are busy wasting their precious time and they really don’t understand the value of time for them so here I just want to use two famous quotes ..
Time and tide wait for no man.
Time = life; therefore, waste your time and waste of your life, or master your time and master your life.
Best utilization of time with a proper schedule, strategy and plan to make things manageable on time.In my opinion time management is actually work management on time.
Importance of time management
As I said earlier time management is very important in life to manage things on time.A person who understand the importance of time is the one who knows the way to success.
For students it will help to manage studies & other activities and for office goings it will help in managing work and for those who are in mature age with family responsibilities time management for them is must.
So now we will discuss some of the advantages of time management.
Helps in setting priorities
When a person work with a time management plan ,he/she make a list of things with setting priorities.It is because when we don’t have any strategy to work with,we do a lot of things and some things are not so important and we waste time in that because we don’t understand what is more important.
Working with a time management plan make you realize which things are more important to you and you save a lot of time which you would have been wasting without a plan.
If you want to make good use of your time, you’ve got to know what’s most important and then give it all you’ve got.
Work on time
When you have a proper plan of things to do with a schedule you actually make things on time if not exactly on time but at least close to what you have expected and which you would have never be able to do without a proper plan.
Yes it helps in improving efficiency.
efficiency= (output value/input value)*100
In context of work,Efficiency equals to the things you achieved out of things you have done.So obviously it will improve your efficiency.But when you don’t have any proper plan you do a lot of things and at the end you are not able to achieve any thing, So efficiency is very less.
Working with a proper time management plan encourage you to do work on time. When you work with a proper work scheduling plan then it encourages you to work within the time period.It is always set in your mind that you have to do things on time.
Give confidence and satisfaction.
I must tell you that time management is not a game of kids ,it is very hard to work with a time management plan as it requires a lot of things. But when you catch a flow and do work on time it gives you a self confidence and satisfaction that you are doing everything on time.Those who work with a time management plan they can understand how it feels. I myself work with a plan and when I achieve things which I had planned ,gives me confidence and satisfaction.
Improves your management skill
It helps you in improving management skills because you actually manage a lot of things working with a plan.This helps you when you are working in a team in college ,office or any where.
Improves your ability to work faster
It really improves your ability to work faster as it is always in your mind that you have to work within planned time period.So it improves your ability to work faster.But if you don’t have any plan to work with you just get lazy and in that situation you do every work very slowly.
Give you quality results
When you work on one thing at a time it always gives you a quality results because it makes you focus on one thing only.When a work is done with full concentration and focus then results has to be good.
Brings discipline in life
Managing time plays a great role in bringing discipline in your life which is very important to achieve anything in life.
